At Great Lakes Region Church of God, we believe in the power of love, compassion, and support to bring healing and restoration to those in need. Our Care Ministry exists to provide practical assistance, emotional support, and spiritual guidance to individuals and families facing life's challenges.

What We Offer


  • Pastoral Care: Receive confidential pastoral counseling, prayer, and support from our caring pastoral team during times of difficulty, grief, or crisis.
  • Support Groups: Connect with others who are facing similar challenges or life circumstances through support groups focused on topics such as grief, addiction recovery, divorce care, and more.
  • Prayer Ministry: Submit prayer requests and receive prayer support from our prayer team and church community, knowing that you are not alone in your struggles.
  • Practical Assistance: Access resources and assistance for practical needs such as food, clothing, housing, transportation, and financial support through our benevolence ministry.
  • Hospital and Home Visitation: Receive visits from our caring volunteers and pastoral staff during hospital stays, illness, or times of recuperation at home, providing companionship, prayer, and support.
